Minutes of the November 15, 2007 meeting

Meeting open by Larry @ 7 p.m. Lynn is not
sure how many candles are out, she has $101, Larry has $50. Larry said bank
balance is $213.19 from last bank statement. New bank statement want be in
until the 30th of the month.
He was not able to get Keep Polk County
beautiful to bring dumpsters to the neighbor this year, but we will plan to
have dumpster at next year’s cleanup. Keep Polk county beautiful do have a
schedule clean up on December 1, 2007 @ the Chain of lakes complex 9 a.m. until
1 p.m. for tires and hazardous waste.
Volunteers are needed to help Larry this
Saturday @ 10 .am. For planting and painting the poles at the corner of Sidney
Circle and Recker Highway.
Larry and Lynn had a meeting with Commissioner
Jack Myers in the Park on November 14, 2007 to discuss the traffic problems on
Coleman road and in the park. He could not attend this meeting but Larry will
arrange for him to attend future meeting to address any concern our citizen my
have.
Larry and Lynn talk to Mr. Dean on 4th
Street about a plant sale in the park as a fund raiser for the association
treasurer.
JPVRA need to become incorporated. Larry made
a motion and Denise 2nd, motion carried and voted to incorporate.
Lynn met with Glinda Meeks she will come to
discuss our relationship with Friends of the Park.
Larry pasted out more applications for the
CAP {Citizen Assistance Program}, all applications must be turned in by our
next meeting on December 20 so that Larry can get them to Mr. Glover, director
of CAP, so decision can be made in January, 2008 to get our program under way.

web site.
Next meeting December 20, 2007
Deputy Bradford to do reverse 911 to let the
community know of the meeting. Deputy Bradford also mention the Sunshine
Foundations annual Christmas lighted and invited all to attend in support of
the Foundation. The event is on December 11th, they will have live
entertainment, food, fun, bring the kids for a wonderful entertaining evening.

Our mission is to work together and educate
our community for the common good of a safe and healthy neighborhood. We must
promote a "no tolerance" policy on drugs and crime. We also will
encourage everyone to clean up, fix up work together to keep the value of our
property competitive, and to revitalize our community and make it beautiful,
safe and drug free community that we will all be proud of. Remember it takes us
working together to accomplish all our goals.
