Old business

1) Yard sale - bill reviewed part of the cd on how to organize a community yard sale. We can use the park but we cannot reserve it. It is first come first serve. The date for the yard sale will be saturday March 18th. Money earned will go toward signs, flyers, stamps, etc. to promote our meetings.

2) Mission statement - should state what our plans and goals are.

Tentative mission statement is:

Our mission is to work together for the common good of our community. We must promote a "no tolerance" on drugs and crime. We also need to encourage everyone to clean up and fix up. With us all working together we can revitalize our community and make it safe and drug free. We can once again be proud of Jan Phyl Village. Remember it takes us working together to get things done.
