Meeting Minutes

June 22^nd 2006

The JPVRA June 22nd meeting was held at the PCSO District Center on Ave. G at 7:00pm. President, Bill Brown, was absent so Treasurer, Lynn Giles, opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance. Everyone in attendance introduced themselves. The May minutes were read and accepted as is. The Sheriff's Dept sent out a message through the reverse 911 reminding the neighborhood of the meeting.

Old Business

* I called Roadway Maintaince about the buggies in the ditches.

* The Sheriff's Dept checked out the ditches and said that was as good as the community workers could do because of health and safety hazards.

* Yard Sale/Fall Fair- ideas sugguested were face painting, bubbles, musical chairs, sand jars, moonwalk, wading pool, bean pictures, go fishing, basket ball toss, & balloon toss.

* Lynn and I got together on Saturday, June 17th, and passed out flyers. We covered Del's, Glad Rd, Taylor Blvd, and Sidney Cir.

* The Sheriff's Dept gave out another " No Tolerance" sign to be displayed in the neighborhood.

New Business

* Justin brought up concerns of getting sidewalks on a few streets in the neighborhood. (need to email her number) must call Engineering 534-6700

* More addresses were turned in for code violations.

* Apts by Del's need to have Sheriff's Dept monitor them (concerns about people doing drugs and sleeping in them)

* Fall Fair Justin said she would check out getting hot dogs if needed.

* Discussed houses with out numbers (it is a code violation)

* Discussed Wrecker Services not cleaning up after accidents. It is there responsibly to clean up all debris.
