Meeting Minutes

March 23^rd 2006

The JPVRA monthly meeting was held on March 23,2006 at the PCSO District Center on Ave. G at 7:00 pm. President Bill Brown opened the meeting with the saying of the Pledge of Allegiance. The February minutes were read and accepted.

Old business

Great American clean up was held March 11^th. We had 14 people turn out. Free Bok Tower tickets and tee shirts were given out.

Community Garage Sale was held march 18th. Had a good turn out. Sold hot dogs and drinks, had a moon walk & fire truck there for the kids. Thanks to everyone that helped and that donated items. Total money earned is not yet figured but maybe around $235.

Code violations mailed out 24 letters 7 residents cleaned up. Gave Denise list of residents that are still in violation for Harvey to process. I called Rent King's Home Office and reported our concern about them not keeping their area clean & picked up.

New business

I will call Florida Refuse for list of items they will and will not pick up

I will call public safety about dead tree at 706 Sidney Circle

I will call North Central Landfill about what free items they have

Bill will call Tucker Construction about the apartments being built by Del's (to clean up their mess)

Need to add apartment complex next to Del's to code violation list

Was suggested getting residents email address so we could send meeting reminders that way

Everyone at meeting took flyers for the April meeting to pass out. Each person chose an area to pass theirs out and they will also look for code violations
