Meeting Minutes

October 26^th 2006

The JPVRA October 26^th meeting was held at the PCSO District Center on Avenue G at 7:00pm. Due to President, Bill Brown’s absence (due to illness) Lynn opened the meeting. The September meeting notes were read and accepted. Lynn reported that the account balance was $214.28. We had two guests at the meeting; they were Harvey Green, from Code Enforcement Division and Ginny Nifong, from the News Chief.

Items addressed to Harvey Green were as follows:

1) Wreaker on Fern

2) Buses on Fern (Board hearing in November)

3) 601 Glad- Yard sale house

4) Commercial vehicle on Vaniman

5) 706 Sidney- Distressed vehicle

6) Taylor is looking better

7) 2 houses on Thomas looking better

8) Boat on Glad- need to check out. If on sidewalk call Harvey.

9) Check out new pavement on Coleman

Welcome Ginny Nifong- Columnist for the News Chief. She writes “The West Side”, a weekly column for the News Chief. Ginny would like to know of any accomplishments, activities, business, and church activities; or just what is happening in the neighborhood.

Upcoming Community Sale

When: Saturday, November 11, 2006

Time: 8:00am to 2:00pm

Space Rental: $10.00 (Bring your own tables)

Diane, Denise, Thea, and Lynn are going to call people on the list to see about getting donations. Lynn will have the notice put in the News Chief and the Lakeland Ledger.

I will make flyers, send them to Thea, then to Al to post the notice on the web site, and then to Lynn.

November and December meetings will be held the third Thursday due to the holidays.

November 16^th / December 21^st

Sent to Al to post the notice on the website.

November meeting- New officers will be elected.

Lynn paid Al to continue the website.

Helping Bill- Think of things we could do to help Bill.

Yard sale/ Raffle/ Bake sale/ Car wash
