Meeting Minutes

September 28^th 2006

The JPVRA September 28^th meeting was held at the PCSO District Center on Avenue G at 7:00pm. This meeting was very informal due to the death of Deputy Matt Williams along with his canine companion Diogi. The August minutes were read and accepted.

The items discussed were as follows:

1) The way code violations are handled.

2) Getting sidewalks put on numerous streets in the neighborhood.

3) We need a volunteer to research the Grant programs for the community.

4) The yard sale date has been changed to November 11^th. Volunteers are needed to work and donated items are needed for sale.

5) Jan Phyl Park meeting that was held on September 19^th-There was a very low turn out because of the weather.

* Discussed the park’s condition

* Traffic

* Noise

* What residents would like to have in the park

* How money would be raised to get the park upgraded

* What the neighborhood likes about the park

* Who would be maintaining the park

6) Web site-yearly cost of web site is $70.00. It was determined by members in attendance that the cost to continue the web site was justified. Lynn will pay $70.00 out of account to continue.
